The faculty offers its students, professors and administrative and technical staff free access to the resources of the Library of University Resources (BIRUNI), www.biruni.tn
Set up by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the BIRUNI project aims essentially to compile a collective catalog gathering the documentary collections from different university libraries and equip them with the necessary equipment and an efficient information system for an easy access to the existing documents.
This collective catalog comprises more than 1,350,000 entries from 173 university libraries belonging to 13 Tunisian member universities, among which the Virtual University of Tunis, and to establishments under the control of the General Directorate of Technological Studies.
The potential users of this online portal are estimated at 400,000 students and 20,000 professors.
